Help have spark from coil but not on spark plugs

hi all
i have a problem i have a hei mod and external coil
but it wont fire up.
i have a pulse signal on my hei to coil an the coil fires if i hold the end to earth
if i hold it above my connection point on my disty almost no spark
no earth at the disty?
checked the rotor
checked the disty cap
checked timing
what can it be?
new hei and coil are done
disty is swapped.
pl help me i need my car every day
now 32km a day on my bike pfff.
