ProjectB10 - 1993 Eunos Presso HI-XS

A Japanese domestic market used car import purchased "new" in NZ in 2002.

Has been a garage queen ever since. I decided that the 10th year anniversary of ownership (also 9 years as a member of MX-3.com ....... and many modifications later) was a good time to start up a worklog. Over time I will backfill in the history of the changes made over the years.

In the meantime on to my current challenge.... do I swap the existing OEM front bumper cover and lip out for a Mazdaspeed fibreglass replacement or not???

The MS cover is certainly lighter in weight and offers much more cooling airflow to the KL-ZE than the OEM factory offering..... but its very lightly built and is very vulnerable to kerb strike.

No way with the MS one, that OEM one is slick, especially in that colour!

Very nice what we have seen so far! what I would do is run the MS as a summer bumper and the OE as a winter

Yes I think that is the way forward. I just cant see me swapping the bumper cover over. I have another 1993 Presso in the same colour and same MY but in a higher Jap market spec, about the same kms travelled but in rougher condition. I think all the bits I have hoarded will be fitted up to that one.

I have a buyer for them. the problem currently, is to find a way of getting them there for an affordable cost.
