As in like lowering your car by by using like c-clamps on the springs so they don't uncompress fully? 'Cause that's bad.

This method sounds fishy to me, no matter how you look at it.

I've heard you can put some fat chicks in your car and it will lower your car. If you can't find any fat chicks that want to ride in your car you can put some sand bags in there...

None of these options are worth it in my opinion, just swap out lowered springs(none of this cutting or heating up crap) or better yet put in some new struts if yours are blown.

The fat chick idea was funny though . I will give it that . It's all fun and games until your friends catch you .

^lol^
Indeed! But, they slow you down, in more ways than one
Clamps on the springs, not a good idea at all, something will break, and it would likely break other stuff as well.

Yeah, talk about old school. My Dad is a mechanic, and I've been into hotrodding for about 28 years. There were straps that you could compress your springs with that worked okay for Muscle cars. I considered doing this to my GS, but lowering springs are affordable, and not that tough to put in.
In case you consider cutting your springs; There was a guy on the forum that I knew that wanted to cut his springs. We practically begged him not to. I saw him at CorkSport with his car slammed, and he took me for a ride. It drove like $#!+. he didn't admit that he cut them until I forced him to. He got in a bad wreck soon after that, and I haven't heard from him since.
