Halo Headlights!

This forum is for discussion of topics relating to MX-3 lighting such as Headlights, Tail lights, Accessory Lights, Interior Lights, Etc. For example, Rear Euro Altezza Style Tail lights, Headlight units, LED's, HID's, Bulbs, Interior lights, Neons, Strobes, Auxillary Lights/Fogs or anything filament and gas discharge related.
Also anything dealing with the elctrical system.

Hey imma get some new halo headlights ill post a pic below! On my red mx3! but dont know if i want silver back or black!! if any of you bought a pair on a red mx3 please show me what it looks like! thanks

I'd go black, definitely, for red.

yea black is definitely better i found some cars with silver and it looks like crap. Plus i got black rims, black interior, and black emblems

yeah the black would look really good on a red MX3. The chrome only looks good i think on black and white cars.

The chrome looks alright on blue cars, but I never thought it would until I saw it in person. :D Still, I've always leaned towards darker colors.

Which bulbs are used for low beat (in projectors)?
Magnum s/s lines, strut bars, carbon fiber bezel, indiglow gauge, Sony Xplod, inverted c/f hood, SRD lower tie bar '93 GS SE '95 Cobra SVT #2722 '68 Charger R/T 440

they convert our stock harness so they use H1's in both the high and low beams

Yep, Kull is right, H1s all the way through.

My original chrome projectors(which are coincidentally sitting next to me in my basement) didn't have the weather stripping around the light that my black ones have(I assume the previous owner put it on), and my drivers side chrome one had on of the top and the bottom plastic mount break off from the housing from what I assume was excessive rattling and shaking, anyone else have this problem?

It may have somethign to do with my rough suspension and the shitty roads in NE Calgary. I've gotten used to the suspension now but if I ever have a passenger they're always wincing over bumps haha.
