Nope, these cars are pre hepa-fiter in a pre-filter time..
I always parked under my parents chestnut trees, and in springs, they bloom and drop thousands of flowers. They'd of course fall on and in the wiper cowel, and in the morning, if I had left the blower on high (air intake was always set to Fresh) and didn't turn it down, when I'd start the car,I'd typically get a few flowers in the face.

you can try pulling your wiper cowl and cleaning down in the passenger side as that is where the air inters you cabin.

i'm actually surprised that i've never seen a post about this yet.
i've actually been thinking of figuring out a way to put a cabin air filter in somehow and i already have ideas on how to do it, if i ever get around to it i'll be sure to post it in my worklog.

Maybe it's because I come from the part of the country that mosty has pine needles instead of leaves but I've literally never had this happen before.

You have to pull the fan motor out and blow them out from the air box . I had to do that . It seems to be the only way . Trust me on that .

I think it also did this on my parents '90 626 too. I know the Xterra has a filter, it's behind the close box part of the blower assembly and easy to replace (the hard part is taking apart the glove box to get to it)
I didn't care too much, annoyed me and made me laugh at the same time

Leaves don't bother me too much. Snowy bits in the face on a cold morning aren't terribly fun, though.

Ah well. Gives the car character!

Weird!? I am with Rob, maybe because in my neck of the woods we have pine needles but they are smaller than leaves... I have never had this happen... seems quite odd to me.

My cousin brought up this conversation today in reference to the pin tree across the street. Didn't blow through, but he had to clean out his airbox on his JDM S/C CRX, because the needles would get stuck and kill his blower motor.
