As some of you know, I'm enlisting in the Coast Guard this fall. My date for basic is mid december, and I've been waiting for over 2 years for this opportunity...

I've had setback after setback, the last one was my previous ASVAB score(I scored a 92, which is definitely good), which was "misplaced" by the Marine Corps after I took it... I've been pretty upset about this, and finally went in to retest today.

I pulled a 95, which is phenomenal for not studying prior... In addition to that, My test took 1 hour and 35 minutes to complete.

On top of that, I was paid today! Results of which were: Full tank of gas, enough sandpaper and chalkboard paint to respray my '92 before the meet on the 16th, and I have enough money to go out and celebrate my score with some friends!

I've honestly had nothing negative, neutral, or anything less than fantastic happen today. I've been waiting for this day for way too long.

You just jinxed yourself by mentioning it here. Go home and hide in a closet till tomorrow. Go for a testicle cancer check asap as well. Last time I thought I had a perfect day and told someone I got colitis, lasted 5 years. Not good.
