Wow, It's even worse than I thought... The cost is ludicrous, I could ship something to Florida and back 5 times for less than ANYWHERE in Canada.
Does anybody have any suggestions, besides flat-rate boxes? It disgusts me that a $32 flat-rate box is the cheapest way to ship a <2 pound package, at 5.5"x8"x8.5" dimensions.

Not that I ever found... I always sent parcel post via USPS, no tracking but I never had a single issue and have probably shipped more than 50 things.

Then I really need to figure out the USPS website a little better... I'll try going down in person next time, this was ridiculous.

Do not ship UPS, when the recieving Canadian recieves his brokerage bill a few months later, he'll come down and castrate you.

When I set my headlights up there, UPS wanted my credit card #. For the custom fees if the buyer didnt pay. I was like HELL NO! Ended up going USPS, and had to pay an extra $10. I've set alot of international stuff in envelopes for cheap prices.

Yeah whenever possible I use the little bubble packs and just make sure I put extra packing in... those are usually really cheap.

Well I must have made a mistake with the online calculator... The total came out to an even $10 when I went to the post office in person.
