im pretty sure it was because it was theeee bigger rotor cam. thats the only difference i could find in it. my new distys rotor wouldnt fit on that 94 one. i think its the other code disty. idunno, it tested fine tho. 17.6ohms on the coil.(11.5-18 is good)

that mazdaspeed "positve charging system"

im 99.9% sure thats justs a ebay piece :shrug: and not an actual or even needed MS product

it hooks up to your battery, I know because I have a "C-west' one but i dont even think its doing anything but what it does is;
"This is a 100% Brand New JDM racing voltage stabilizer which can increase HP, torque, improve fuel economy, car response up, stable idling, quick engine start, lesser engine noise and optimize electrical equipment performance. It also maximizes the efficiency of all factory vehicle electrical systems, allowing smoother engine operation, more efficient electrical component operation, and improved electrical current.

The stylish voltage stabilizer box compliments any engine bay with its attractive case design. It stores electrical energy at al time to provide stable and sufficient electrical energy whenever there is a voltage drop across the supply when power needed from all parts in the can. It also maintains better fuel mileage with improved combustion. Installation is easy, just connect the red wire to power and blue wire to ground.
Fits: Universal fit all cars

So what you're telling me here is that adding Mazdaspeed stickers/badges/etc doesn't mean it's authentic Mazdaspeed? :D

There is no part number on it. thats why its unknown. but its engraved across the top. the MS and Mazdaspeed is NOT a sticker. i just dislike people who try to call something fake... i would not try to sell a phoney ms part. just sayin.. But to be sure, it came out of an mx3 OR a 2nd gen rx7. those r the only 2 types of mazda cars that went through my cousins garage. And heres what i find on google when i search it up. Tons of pictures of this EXACT thing and that it does this.. It appears to be a parallel capacitor system, where the capacitor stores a charge and then releases it if/when the voltage drops.
