help my speedo deosnt work

So swapped the egt bp in and now my speedo doesnt work.

If it helps at all, the egt was an electronic speedo and my rs was... welll you know, cable driven.

It doesnt work.

Need help with finding out if it matters that the speedo gear was from an f series tranny and now is in a g series, or if it is just a piece of garbage speedo gear.
