hi guys i got a aus k8 eunos 30x auto ,the timing tensioner went on me so i went and bought a klde 2.5 mx6 engine with low klms i just got some questions plz,should i put headers on the 2.5 the are lots on ebay for 2.5 klze mx6 will these fit ?,so i need the ecu and air flow meter out of an mx6 is that right,i have the straight version throddle bodle on the klde will this hit my brake booster as mine is right hand drive and the booster is on the other side,or can i fit my k8 intake manifold will it work with my klde, and my thoddle body is missing on my klde can i use the k8 throddle body on the klde plz tell me my best options,the auto should bolt straight up ? and whats the best way of taking the power steering off to remove the old k8 engine thanks in advanvce

I installed a set on my ZE from Ebay, they installed just fine onto the engine but you will encounter problems when you try to install the collector pipe, onto the headers once the motor is in the car due to clearance issues with the oil pan and crossmember, however a muffler shop should be able to fix this will a small amount of welding.
yes, you will need the ECU and Vaf sensor out of a mx-6. OBDI and OBDII im not sure about but I can guess you'll need the one that your car is (93-94 OBDI, 95+ OBDII) as far as I know anyway.
Since your brake booster is on the other side it will not interfere with the intake manifold, which would make your car an ideal candidate for the straight neck KLZE. No need to swap your K8 manifold.
You'll want the correct throttle body...a K8 throttle body isn't as wide and will reduce your HP. I dont know exactly what part numbers will work with the de manifold but you can ask around or do a little research yourself.
The automatic transmission, im not 100% sure about. However I do know that the manual transmission bolts right up, so I see no reason why the auto would not, however like I said...Im not 100% sure and thus you should get a 2nd or 3rd opinion.

the auto trans swaps over no problem i do believe it isnt as strong a a ze one though. as far as the throttle body u can use the 1 from the k8 until u find one from a klze or de from probe millenia mx6 626 (i know they are called differently in oz tho like eunos 60x and stuff)the diameter is just a bit bigger so more air flow and if your straight neck doesnt fit for some reason u can use your k8 intake manifold as well but once again it will reduce airflow.

thanks for replies sorry for delay woot klde engine in just have to hook up the exhaust and plug wires anybody got a link on vacuum hoses where they go cheers

dam i fitted the k8 auto trans to my klde mx3 30x aus spec and now the converter bolts are hitting the motor and its pissing atx fluid from the main seal and the hold light is flashing its running a klde ecu auto one what are my options bow i want to drive this car can i put a mx6 auto with the mx3 drive shafts fit will it work what are my options plz thanks

Well, sorry I didn't read it sooner but K8 auto's do bolt up and should run fine (I can't remember of it's the Mx-3 or the Mx-6/626/Probe that uses a 2nd, seperate ECU for the auto trans) so you'll have to stick with the Mx-3 ECU for the auto trans an use a KL02 VAF. Can't explain why you're having issues with the converter bolts, that shouldn't be a problem.
The K8 auto dosn't last when bolted to a KL, it can't handle the power. Regardless if you get it running, it'll typically last only a few weeks...

thanks for the info dam i knew i must of missed something between the crankshaft and the drive plate there is a adapter or so called spacer i didnt put one or missed seeing it on the k8 engine dam the k8 went to scrap yard now do you think this adapter or so called spacer will be had to find here is the part number for it FU9B19025 REF 19025 A im so silly sometimes ,i pulled my gearbox back out just need to find one or do you think im silly fitting the auto box im not going to boot it this car is just to get to a to b i have a turbo car for fun plz give me advise thanks
