Post by NSlowbro »

I'm planning on do a swap on my mx3 with a 1.8 off a protege and he's selling it to me for 500 everything is still running but he said the chasis has 3xx,xxx but the engine has 150,xxx-160,xxx miles so the question is should I get it lol is it a good deal?

parts cars are always a great idea when doing a swap because just in case you forgot to grab something when you were at the junkyard or where ever, you don't have to drive back to get the part or drive somewhere to get that part.

and 500 for a running car is always a great deal IMO

well, it should feel a bit better than your mx-3 and if not there might be something wrong with the engine and since that's what your after it might not be worth it unless you plan on rebuilding the engine

Yeah my cousin said that if I get that I would have to put a lil work on the engine is rebuilding an engine hard and expensive?
