I was on the local car club forum. A guy posted a couple willy wonka condescending look pics,
"so you're in a car club?.... tell me what stage parts you have."
"Oh, you refer to cars by their chassis code?.... you must be an experienced mechanic."
Then another member changed the meme.
BECAUSE RACE CAR.
I took an interest, there is a website, becauseracecar.org packed with this type of thing.... But the plot thickens...
According to knowyourmeme.com, becauseracecar originated with the MX-3.
FOR SERIOUS.
I hadn't heard of this. I enjoy.

The whole "Because <insert relative term>" has been around a while and the because race car one is hilarious!

I remember that add and people making fun of it I had no idea the was a meme after it... The "because race car" thing isnt really doing it for me though
