I just picked up this 626. While I was searching, it seemed that most of them were either auto V6 or I4, or 5sp I4 models. I only seen a couple V6 models with the 5sp option. Was wondering if this was just in my area, or if the 5sp V6 was an option.

I've been comparing it to my old GS which had both 2.5 626 and Millenia engines. Of course my old GS is a little quicker. But I love the room inside with all the power features and leather seats.

I come across the ES v6 626's at the wrecker sometimes with a 5 speed. Very uncommon though up here too.

i think because it was a "family car" you wanted the automatic, just one less thing to worry about on the road while babies are crying in the back
