My drivers side sliding belt does not work, if anyone has a working one for sale I'd like to buy it.

Mazda should replace it for free, have you checked out the warranty? It was extended for the lifetime of the vehicle.

If there is a particular reason you can't use the warranty, I have one that's confirmed working.

I don't really want to go through hassle with dealership. I know they'll screw something up.

You shouldn't have much trouble with it... I would recommend removing your pillar trim yourself though, and taking pictures of the interior just in case.
When mine was serviced, they got grease on my headliner, other than that the repair was perfect. If I had taken pictures before the service, I would have made them replace my headliner over it...
If you're dead set on buying one, I can get a shipping quote and a price for you.

I had the same problem and I went to the dealership, they looked up the safety recal and said when the part comes in they call me to make an appointment. Three days later dropped my car off and when I went to pick it up it was washed and all fixed free of charge.

gotta love safety recalls lol.
