Does anyone make a gauge that talks to the computer that can calculate instantaneous mpg?

There is no sensor that measures the vacuum or fuel flow in our cars. Its impossible for the edu to guess mileage.

The best I have heard of for MX-3s is using MegaSquirt or another EMS to track fuel consumption and cross reference it with your mileage manually.

Honestly though, your easiest method of calculating it would be filling your tank every time you buy fuel, and doing the math in a smartphone app, or writing it down.

Oh well, its just nice to look down and see exactly how little or much gas you are using.

A vacuum gauge will give you an un-quantified reading. The more vacuum you draw ( lower manifold pressure) the less fuel you are using.
