MX-3.com

so i found a mx-3 for sale, nice body kit, racing seats etc its a 1.8 but the guy said it failed HC on the emissions test. im trying to talk him down from 900 too 700. because hc is unburned fuel from the back of the car (kinda like a big a-- gas leak) and i dont really wanna spend 900 if i have to replace . wires, plugs, cap, rotor,maby a disty or the 02 sensor or it could be bad fuel pressure. does any one think its worth the risk?

if the saftey will pass and the body is in good shape, id say go for it ( also get a mechanic to say its a swapped engine and that makes it eligable to a HOTROD e-test witch should pass with high HC's regardless. then you have a nice looking mx3 with body kit etc. that could be parted out. unless you like it or want it stock looking

thats how i get my other 2 mx3's to pass under hotrod cause of the ze's lol.. im interested in it cause of the kit,seats, lowering springs,17'' rims. and could part it out like you said... but heres a picture of it http://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z39 ... dn1_20.jpg

buy it and ill buy almost the whole front end.

From the looks of it $900 ain't a bad price. Can I come by and look at it too, looks like there's a buck to be made in parting it out.

I'm thinking your getting MX3 fever. I was up to 4 MX3's at one time till I got help. 3 means your on your way and in serious need of intervention. I'll buy the car instead of you and save you from yourself. It would be the least I could do for a fellow MXer.

Umm MX3, MX6 and Probe GT. It's not an addiction, it's just a,,,past time,,ya that's what it is but you my friend, you got junkie written all over your face.

I swear I wish I lived in Canada, those deals are rarely ever down here. I just bought another mx-3 last week 93 gs stock white, oil burning k8 with 250k mils for $400 its ok but no aftermarket goodness. That one there is awesome, run a bottle of guaranteed 2 pass through the gas & open it up on the freeway I bet it'll pass I have had that problem a few times.
I say BUY IT before some stupid kid does, or even worse dare I say- a WRECKER.

I 2nd what wagze said, man those deals don't come like that in US. lol, most around here are the 4 bangers with no goodies and high miles.
