MX-3.com

I ordered some replacement struts along with everything else except the rubber seats the coils sit on. No auto part place has them locally and I can't find any online either. I only have the uppers and the lower weren't even on the vehicle. Anybody know where to order some?

i dont think there are bottom seats. try calling mazda...

I just took mine apart, and there are no bottom rubbers.

mine had them, actually i might have pulled them off the ZX2 struts in the junkyard....i don't remember but i have some.

*edit* actually now that i looked at some photo's, i don't think i had front ones.....

you can get them, but for whatever reason, the part number doesn't link to our cars (ie. won't say "fits MX3"). Check out my worklog under the suspension section for the right part #

If I remember correctly, the front suspension only has upper spring seats, rear suspension has only lower spring seats, either way, check out my worklog, that should be helpful

I haven't taken the rear ones out yet but the front did not push out at all when I pushed the shock piston in. I can't wait to get it all back together.

i think your right and the rear doesn't have the upper seat because it's part of the mount

I'm working on a similar project...
Rear upper is part of the mount, and comes with a new mount.
You can get the rear lower seat from partsgeek but search for ford escort zx2 coil spring insulator. They also have a set for front lower.
The front upper seems a trick, through them its only available with the upper spring seat.
