Hey Guys,

I recently have been experiencing a major problem whne im in 1st gear. After i release clutch the car will start jumping in a rthymic motion much like dancing and sometimes stall. I've been driving stick for 3 years no problem, and i have a vacuum gauge setup so i know how not to stall the engine. Any advise would be much appreciated as it is embarassing as hell to drive in the city.

My car does it too, you either have to ride the clutch or ride the throttle. Idling around at 0% throttle, especially if you coast down to it.... it'll be interesting. Car just doesn't like going slow :D

I think it has to do with our shitty AIC system.

Unhook your IAC, Ryan!

Stalling is a little more commonplace if you aren't kind to your clutch, but this issue is way less obvious.

No no, disabling stock system isn't the solution.

Removing it entirely is the solution :D

ITB's! :D

Heh, are you IAC-less with your KL?

I just run mine unhooked, since it won't idle under 2k with it plugged in. I near-stall when switching from reverse to 1st in my driveway almost every day, but I've yet to stall it over it. That's the only occasion it's even made a noticeable difference anyways.

Sounds like a vacuum leak, throttle itself or the TPS sensor
