Need to wire a push button in a 1993 v6 manual

Long story short I bought myself a 300 dollar v6 Go-kart (my mx-3). I'm not too worried about security in my area as car theft is extremely low. The previous owner fragged the ignition mechanism and after repeated starts with a screw driver the plastic is all mulched up inside. so my plan is to wire the main power to a single switch and the starter to a 60 amp push button using the original wiring. any advice before i start wire color codes would be handy... thanks in advance

don't set your car on fire and just use a relay.

Print out ignition wiring diagram, and go from there.

id throw in a hidden flip switch under the dash that supplies power to the push button. that way you would have at least some kind of security. itd also give you a way to turn the car off. assuming you cant figure out how to make the push button start and stop...

Don't forget the starter wire is the one wire on cars that isn't fused, use a circuit breaker 12g. Minimum heavy wire & a push button switch for this application. Clutch push button switch may be bypassed aswell. Circuit breaker a must like Ryan said don't wanna burn it down.
