Does anybody have OEM seat skin patterns?

I will be making 2 leather interiors this coming winter/spring, and will be needing a pattern to work from. I figure my stock cloth skins are close, but close isn't what I'm looking for. If you have patterns, or have access to patterns, I would be VERY grateful if you could send them my way.
I'll consider making more sets later on, depending on how they turn out.
I should also mention that I plan to use high quality(i.e. expensive) leather, since the cost of having them made will be zero.(I am doing it myself, on professional equipment I have nigh unlimited access to)
I need to do some leather pricing, but if/when I decide to post a GI about this, expect reasonable prices.

I will be redoing my passenger seat to match my BNIB driver seat that I acquired from john, the leather is about 100 bucks for 50sq feet hides but need to find out were to get the perforation done. So will be making wood patterns to work from.

Why don't people just get leathers from a higher end luxury sports car like an Acura from a junk yard?
Cut off its rails, and weld it to MX-3 rails... voila. Better quality, perhaps a better fit, and likely better looking. not to mention way cheaper and easier.

I like the originals the best they suit the car better.

stock seats are made for smaller (asian) people. my shoulders stick out like 3" each side from the 92/93 seats. the rx8 seats i had modified fit my body much better. i also think they make the car look higher end from outside.
if this goes threw i highly suggest you make a cover for the 94+ rear seat back cushion. i personally think it looks much better then the leather 92/93 seat back...

Will you be using an OEM leather skin, or a cloth skin? The cloth skins stretch considerably with age... That's why I prefer to wait for a "perfect" pattern.

1) I find the seats to be very comfortable(94+ for long drives, 92-93 HUG me like a custom fit glove during spirited driving)
2) Original anything is a plus to me, especially when it's already to my liking.
3) I'll be wasting no love on Honduhs, whether they twist the H into an A or not.

I agree, I really like the fit as well.
I'm 5'10, ~165 pounds and pretty fit. My shoulders are a LITTLE broad for the seats now that I've put on more muscle, it's not enough to even complain about really.

MrMazda, you and I are the exact same size, and I agree the seats are awesome. Let me guess... ideal position is two clicks back from upright?
But in all honesty, when's the last time you sampled other sporty-car seats? You might find yourself more pleased with something else... My seats are worn out, and my tailbone sometimes hits the bar at the back of the seat cushion. Yes I drive like that sometimes
For the Honda haters, racism is racism, if the subject is animate or not

They have their goodpoints, but that in my books will never outweigh the consequences of owning an over-played brand

Yes, 2 clicks for anything under 2 hour trips, 3 for longer.

With cruise control, I don't mind changing the angle and sliding back a little bit. My ankle cramps(sprained last year), so I still have to take it easy on long drives.
I have about 1" clearance between my right knee and the dash as well, I like a tight, controlled driving position.
I've driven a few, but honestly not more than 10. I've still yet to find a better match for stability in corners, without sacrificing comfort. I may take the time to make a SLIGHT adjustment in the upper section of the DS seat, my shoulders do sit a little wider than that section. My DS seat is wearing in the usual first spot(left side pad, rubs getting in/out).
Honestly, I don't "hate" Hondas, I just can't respect the cars in general... I have seen ONE example of a truly clean Civic hatch around my city, and honestly I'll be thrilled if I can get my '92 to look half as good as that. I never got to see it running, or even meet the owner, but I was impressed nonetheless. The cars have such a negative image, that's burned into the back of my mind, from all the nasty encounters I've had with the owners of said cars. 2 hit and runs in a year, didn't help things a tiny bit.

I was double checking today, and you'r right, its 2 clicks for spirited, and 3 for longer trips

I took the time to do one-by-one.
If you sit at three clicks, hold the wheel normally, and then while focusing the NOT move your right shoulder from the seat back, putting your wrist on the top of the steering wheel, does it sit perfectly on the bump of your wrist? (fold hand back and feel wrist) I guess you'd call it the "middle" of your wrist.

Haha yeah, I've put 40,000 miles on my '92 since '09

Most of them local, but probably 5,000 on trips; Definitely enough time to try EVERY position! Now to remove the sensor for driver weight... I have to lean forward and slam back as much as 10 times a minute to stop that cursed beeping.

I forget which to remove, and I never remember when I have time.
Honestly, I'm so left handed it's not funny. My right hand only touches the steering wheel when both hands are required for stability. I also keep a 9 o'clock grip for relaxed driving, left elbow on the armrest. I'll check tomorrow though, when I go to school.
Btw, you might enjoy this; I just got back into college, after a terribly long(2 year) unintended absence. I'm dual majoring at a local school, 7 terms away from 2 transfer degrees as I currently stand. I'm shooting for business management/admin and Mech. engineering, imagine that.

I'll be going to 2 rival colleges to boot.

Did you ever end up finding a set of the patterns? Have you started on these, or decided on another seat type or something?
