Hello from West Virginia, My name is Daniel and I'm the owner of a pretty rare swapped car. AFAIK its one of two documented and with the 2.2 Turbo Swap. Here's a some of the modifications on the car.
2.2 Turbo Swap (F2T)
H-Series Transmission
Corksport Ball Bearing Turbo
Ebay Front Mount Intercooler
2.5" Intercooler Piping
3" Downpipe
2.5" Exhaust
MSD Ignition with BTC
MSD Blaster2 Coil
MX-6 GT Rear Disc Brake Conversion
5-Lug Swap
Tenzo R seats
Bride Quick Release Steering Wheels
Bride Shift Boot
The car had 17,xxx miles on the body when I got it, now its got ~23,500 on it now. Here's a few pics of it. Glad to be part of the group!
Love to hear feedback

What are your dyno numbers if you have them?

Nice one! Interesting choice of engine, not tempted for FE3? Lantis v6 parts for 5 lug? Or you fit in mx6 bits? Yours is the only other 5stud I've seen! Bit of tidying up wouldn't go astray but it's fantastic to see something different in there!

Yes thats an older MX-6 GT. The Swap consists of MX-6 Knuckles on MX-3 Control Arms.... I take it the 5-Lugs is pretty rare too then huh?

The wheels look nice but even with the rear fenders rolled, and 1/2" spacers they rub in a hard turn so I'm lookin to swap back to 15's....
As for dyno #'s I'd say 180-200 at the wheel... If I get a dyno day sometime, I'll post numbers

Very nice!
For us Americans this motor is more available than the FE DOHC - FE3 motor.
Good work very clean.

i can see why its a rare swap, as strong as these f2t's are, they are normally pulled out of the 1g probes for a better power plant (BPT mainly)
you'll deff love that engine tho, of the 2 that ive owned, they have both been strong healthy engines right to the end

Car is now resprayed in a colorshifting Purple/Green/Blue hue. Read through the build. I placed 12/35 at the Grassroots Motorsports $2012 Challenge in Gainesville, FL at the end of Sept.
I hit a deer with it 3 weeks ago, and have just about everything enroute to fix it with, minus the JDM/Euro Lip...
Interested in more about the car? Check out my build thread for it:

Not really. I've never seen a BP in an gen1 Mx6/Probe. Probably has been done, but it not a common swap. F-series are stronger motors than the B-Series, and the F2T has the strongest FWD trans you can find for a Mazda, hands down.

I take it the F2T trans isn't compatible with much besides the F2T? Or else most others would have used it by now in builds on this site?
