Clappy's 94 GS Worklog

Thought I should start one of these now, and slowly add as stuff develops.

I am not car savvy by any means. The bulk of the work will be done by my friend, who is a mechanic and body guy.

I have ordered smoked JDM bumper lenses

Bouht black projector headlights. Also got Black altezza tails.

I will have more photos and plan writeups tomorrow. This Asus Transformer is a pain to type on.

If those are G-Force GT's, you'll be happy with them :) I have the same tires on the same rims, on a black car....

You need clear markers to go with your headlights/taillights!

Nice car man! Did you think about tinting the markers on the rear bumper since you wont have any on your ms bumper? looks hott when there some what hidden. (check my worklog. last page)! Looking forward to seeing what you have in store for her! later.

Also bought another MX3 GS, just had it towed to my friends shop for an inspection. see if its worth having as a second driver, or use the parts on the project car.. We'll see.

Ok, so when you gonna tell us about the 95 GS you picked up for a fantastic price oh, and don't leave out a comment on the 'Great Guy' that hooked you up with that deal. :D

When that "Great Guy" decides that the spare KLZE he has in his possession is going up for sale to me.. :mrgreen:

Exact set i ordered.. Is shipping WAAAAY overpriced? You bet.. What is my time worth making smoked lenses? The price worked for me.

cost you pretty much the exact same as the shipping costs to tint them yourself. the paint is like 17bucks. and clear coat is also like 15 bucks.

Generally speaking the box size needed to ship those would put the shipping price over $20. So all things considered and Paypal is actually valuing our dollar properly.
