Stickers

So I'm debating de-badging my car, first of all.

Then I want to decorate the edge of my hatch with stickers of all the companies who made parts for my car.

Topline, Interprep, Magnaflow, Colt Cams, Enkei, H&R, Outlaw Engineering... I have parts from all of these companies.

this can be done right IMO. What I would do is ensure that all brands are done in the same colour. It can look really messy if you have white, red, black etc stickers. all different sizes and what not.

Sure free advertising for companies and why not. I'm sure they'd do the same for you right? Just like the T shirts that advertise for companies /people like Tommy Buttkisser shirts. I've thought about this as well but in the end I prefer a clean slate, factory pure all the way. Well except for projector head lights,,,and ,,,, HEI mod,,,,and ,,,suspension upgrades,,,and new stereo,,,and,,,

I agree with dan, personally Im more a fan of the euro style and posting your fasted time at your local track under a small image of it on the panel.

Without offending anyone...I cannot support the "grocery list" look. I have never seen it look anything but ricey and cheezball.

Just make sure you place them where they give you the most horsepower gain.
In my experience, the best places are the tips of the rear wing, and the sides of the hood scoop... :freak:

Gotta say it, I agree 100%.

Sorry Ryan, I don't think many of the regulars here will have many supporting statements about this...

Thats alright, because its my car and not yours :D

My father works at a printing press and I can get all of these made in any shape size and style I want, so I can make it as clean as I want :)

The next option is decorating the underside of the hood.

Now THAT, sounds interesting... I want to see what you have in mind for the hood.

Oh, MX-3.COM stickers are acceptable btw. :)

I already have this one :

I like the idea of the underside of the hood, except I'm never sure how long I'll keep a hood....

I amend my previous statement. If you have a white car and do this it looks ok.

Color match the stickers to your car. That way they are there, but no one will tell...

Cant find a picture of it, but it looks good in my head..

The car is red on aluminum on black.

If I were to do the hatch thing, I'd make them all small, (no bigger than 4"x2" each) and all in white.

To many performance stickers and say audio equipment stickers is just asking to have you car messed with by punks. Sure I doubt their going to steal your coil-overs but who knows what jealous people will do to your car. My brother had his spoiler stolen off his mx3 when he was parked outside his girlfriends house and it was in a good neighbour hood. There's some messed up people out there...
