[WTB] BP engine (it's that time!)

I live in the tri-state area (New Jersey), equidistant from the Holland and Lincoln tunnels, so I'll go in any direction to locate the engine. Been doing some research calling places in Essex county (Newark, Elizabeth, etc). Found a Protege engine for $400 and an Escort GT for $500. Willing to pay that for the engine but trying to get a deal for $300. Anyone can point me in the right direction would be great. I know the Bronx and Queens have a lot of salvage yards but I wouldn't know where to start.
