2.5 manual tranny sensors
I have a mystery sensor on the bottom end of my transmission I can't figure out what it is. I have a 5 speed out of a 97 probe for the 2.5 and have this mystery sensor. It is located on the passenger side of the tranny on the bottom directly below the axle input right inline with the shift linkage. Can anyone tell me what this sensor is? It only seems to be on the manual transmission. I also have an automatic that I compared it to. Thanks

Re: 2.5 manual tranny sensors
Its the neutral switch.
the one of the front is identical, but its the reverse switch.
the ATX takes these signals from other places (the ATX is filled with about five billion sensors)

Re: 2.5 manual tranny sensors
Thanks that makes sense since it looks almost identical to the reverse or back up light switch.
