Steering Wheel Hub

Post by 92StockMx3 »

Bought a five bolt steering wheel, when i ordered the hub it was for a three bolt(older style looking) wheel. Looked around and the only company that i found that made five bolt hubs does not make one for the MX-3. Took a look at the 6 bolt compatibility list and found one car that matched (89 rx-7)so figured the 5 hole by that company should fit. Wondering if anyone has had somewhat of the same problem or either confirm/list some cars that have the same hub spline pattern. Thank you in advance.

No experience with this personally, but you might have to go custom. :(

I remember my Momo hub being in stock because it was compatible with Honda's too. As long as the spline works, why not?

Did some searching around and found this, figured if anyone else needs it

Guess thats the answer to my question. Figure its the same as a 2inch spacer, which i think i could adapt to.

Just remember that might push the wheel back closer to your chest... If I'm correct in assuming that it doesn't replace another part of the hub.
