Hitting all bases.

Hijacked

I am looking at the booking for the Go-Carts again. The cost looks like it should be around $40 again for the normal performance carts. We have the option to go with the Elite carts (much faster and overall better tune *** no bumping as they don't have any skirting), but the cost is $60 and there is a CC deposit for each cart.

Tentatively booking for July 16 in the PM.

I need to know approximate numbers so I can make sure to book accordingly. For now I will book for an approximate of 12-15 but need to know if we are more like 20

Here is my list of who I think will be there:

Jesse
Steve
Curt
Jen S
Darcy
Collin
Tyler
Monty
Anthony
James G

I am not sure on the newbs:
Tracy
Jen O
Dwayne
James
Cody
Jen
Terry

I'm in for the performance karts as well as Monte for the performance karts. Bobby won't be racing.

Darcy: Don't cancel the site. It'll be taken by some other friends that are coming. They will take the meal plan for Duane and James for their day. Don't know what they will make, but we'll get it figured out. Also, Max and Aaron will be coming go-karting as well.

Won't need to worry about Kailagh and karting as she won't even be getting in till the 20th.

I am open to normal karts or ELITE

Sorry guys... I moved all of this to its own topic, otherwise it is going to get really painful to sort through. I know I'm not the prez anymore, but I can't stand when things get all scrambled together.

Jesse: Tracy and I would probably be in for the Carting and my cousin Glenn from Kelowna as well. (3 of us)

How much time does $40 get us? Jen and I are interested.

If it's the same place as last time, I think we get about 10 decent laps in each direction. Rough guess -- 7-8 minutes per 10 lap session

i am working on the package with the "Elite" carts which is $60/head. I am hiping to get an event package like below. currently the Elite offers 30 min for $60, but I hope to get the race format figured out.

the $40 package that we have done in the past and has worked for the MX-West Cart Championship is:

These events include:

Practice - 3 laps warm up /practice lap
Heat 1 - 5 laps and a cool down lap
Heat 2 - 1 warm up lap 5 laps and a cool down lap
Final Race - Formation lap, 7 lap race, and a cool down lap

Hot dog, Soft drink, Popcorn ,and Slush Puppies

So... I have confirmed that we will be able to use the Elite carts.

the format will be based on the package as noted. they have advised that they will run 5 at a time. this should mean that there will be 3 heats.

NOTE*** you will be required to provide a credit card to operate any cart, but with the Elites, they DO NOT have the same protection as the carts we are used to running. you WILL be responsible for any and all damage that is sustained (Darcy) and will have to pay for it then and there.***

Do we have to commit right now, or can we play it by ear when we get there? I want to cart, but I don't know if I'm 1337 enough for elite.
