Hello fellow mx3er's.

My friend who has had some recent financial problems owns a 95 mx-3 with a BP in it. Well this week, his luck got even worse. The motel that he was temporarily living at was burned to the ground. Him and his family lost literally everything they owned besides the clothes on their back.

Well his mx3 was parked outside and suffered some damage, but she still runs! Now he is in need of headlights and a new windshield to at least make it legal again. If anyone has these laying around that would like to donate or sell for very cheap (I'm going to buy them for him) you would be helping him and his family out tremendously!

is the front of the bumper melted

I'm sorry for the problems he's been having . As soon as I can afford my projectors I can give you my OEM lights. Might not be for a couple of weeks though...

It appears the front bumper did start to melt. I moved to Las Vegas about 2 months ago and sold him the car. He is in Orlando, FL so I haven't seen it in person. Looking at some other pictures though, he was one of the lucky ones car wise. I saw a few others that were completely burnt inside and out.

If he doesn't have headlights by the time you get your projectors, that would be great.

If SuperK ends up selling me his H4 glasslamps, I'll ship mine free of charge.

For what it's worth, please give your friend my condolences. Tough times can be hard to overcome, but with strength and perseverance nothing is impossible. I hope I'm able to help!

If our Postal strike ends I have ones as well. Post his address so we can ship.

Maybe we could all help in a different way... He needs a windshield? None of us likely have spares laying around.

Maybe we could pitch in to help, then we would all be able to do our part.

Just make him join the forums, when he's better situated with things; That'd be repayment enough! =)

My thoughts exactly Mitmaks; if he doesn't have one, maybe we could paypal zreon; As he is the one requesting help for his friend. I know what it's like to be down and out, and small kindnesses can be enough to hold you together in tough times... If this idea works out, put me down for a $10 donation.

If he sets up a PayPal account I'll send some money to help with a new windshield, and I'll send the of headlights for free. I'll go to the shop today and take them off one of my parts cars.

That was quite the blaze, just watched the video. It's nice the red cross is helping with money and living expenses for everyone at the motel for one month.

Good to know about the Red Cross, I'm glad people are getting help when they need it most. It brightens my day.

I sent a pm about headlights if nobody else has been able to help yet.

I sent him a PM as well about headlights, but didn't get a reply.

Any word on a paypal account zreon?

I also have a set of headlights that will soon be going to the scrap yard. Let me know if you need.
