hey i own 2 MX3 V6 and i have the same problem with both

hi the problem i have with both me mx3s is that when the get up to opreating temp the idle starts to goo up and down on its own. It happen to my first one last summer and it made me park it for the remainder of it and i bought a new one just over amonth ago. and now this one is doing the same thing, on my first one i replace the tps and map sensor. has anyone had this problem as well if so could you help me out.

Please don't post the same thread in multiple forums. It will not get your question answered any faster. One thread with one conversation will usually lead to your resolution most efficiently.

Start by cleaning the throttle body, checking every hose in the intake for cracks or loose connections/clamps, check the freeplay on the throttle cable, set the TPS, set the idle, set the timing.

I've had these symptoms myself for a long long time. I've never really put a lot of effort into figuring out what it is but I know it's not an air leak.

Cleaning the TB and making sure there are no leaks, setting the TPS, idle and timing are all just the baseline things. From there I believe it's a vacuum problem in one of the control systems. At some point I plan to remove my intake and verify all the vacuum routing but I just don't have time.
