Can a door which uses a manual operating window be converted to a power operating window? If so, what degree of difficulty is involved?
Thank you.

You need :
both windows motors and hardware
wiring from both sides
drivers window switch
passenger switch
door panels with no manual crank hole (cosmetic)
Its a nice plug and play as the cars are all wired for it already, you just have to take off the door panels,
remove the manual bits and put in the power bits. Takes about an hour a side if you sorta know what
your doing.
search, theres a bunch of info to be found

Thank you.
I'm only doing the passenger side. Therefore, the wiring and all will be there already. I just wanted to make sure it can be done before I purchase the door.

im pretty sure you need the drivers side for the passenger side to work. im not 100% but as far as i know the ps works off the control box of the drivers side (or something like that). if thats the case im sure you could play with the wiring and get it to work on its own...

Perhaps I'm not clear enough. I already have power windows. I'm having the body repaired of rust and repainted. The passenger side door skin is rusted bad. Therefore, I'm picking up a used door at a junk yard, which is in great shape compared to mine, but it's a manual window.
There is another MX3 in the yard with power windows and the passenger glass broken, but the door is slighted dented, even though it also lacks rust. The other door is intact, no dents but as I stated, manual window. That's why I wanted to know the ease of converting.
Thanks again.

oh yeah. your golden then. its a very basic install, youll figure it out when you gut the powered window parts from the dented door. its like 4 or 5 bolts and two plugs shouldnt take you very long at all...
