kl 2.5 engine swap

I got a 1994 mazda mx3 that has the 1.8 engine in it. I put the 2.5 kl engine in it from a 1996 mazda mx6, will i need to change the engine harness and put a mx6 harness in and a mx6 distributer?

No and No.
MX-6 harness won't even fit.
Use the disty that matches your ECM and VAF. Those three must all be switched together.

So will i need the disty for the mx6 engine or will one from a 1.8 engine work?

you have a 1994 harness and 94 disty(unique), JE50, and K8xx ECM.
Use ALL OF THE MX-3 STUFF except the computer.

So i will have to use the mx3 disty, ECM and VAF? Is that all?

Are you really that lazy? SEARCH man SEARCH. This is very basic stuff, I already gave you all the help you need. Sheesh Search and you may even find some additional information that will help you along. I'm not trying to dis you, I'm just trying to point you in the best direction.
