If anyone has a rebuilt or would like to build me a 1.8 motor for my SE
or knows where i can get a new one... please PM or email me.
I have a blown head gasket and the cost to repair is higher
then if i just replace the entire engine. Any help, ideas.. ect....

Thanks De

A probe GT/MX-6/626 motor would probably be your cheapest bet, those engines are like the plague and bolt right in. 30 HP upgrade too.

LOL.... I knew this was going to be 99% of the response to this request...
I really want it exactly like it is... I just finally learned how to work on it
by my self and have the tools to do so. No excuses.... it's what I want.
Thank you Mitmaks... When are you taking the K8 out? How much do you want for it?

Thanks De

I spoke with Charlie on the phone just a bit ago... I might be learning to do the repair my self
(with him on the phone as my guide) as well as print outs of the repair process from the manual.
Thanks Charlie :)

I think you have the capabilities to do this yourself as well. As long as you have the right tools and don't mind getting a little dirty it will be relatively straight forward. :welder: And you have plenty of other cars (mx-3's) to go get parts/supplies as needed lol

Ya, Def go with a KLDE. Easy as pie to install and are a tad better than a K8. If you can get the K8 out you can get a KL in. Don't forget us GA boys are not that far away if you need a part or have a question.

Not sure when, it just tough little sucker lol. I have 111K on it and if I keep it maintained I think it'll go another 100K
To most people they're useless though, however it's fine for daily driver and easy on gas
