Hi all most of you probably don't know who I am but I'm still around, this is a little driveway ornament I picked up in October last year with a dead cylinder in a stock k8. I was able to drive it to where it sits now though (mom's driveway)
It was a $200 craigslist find, got lucky I guess. Had to do something with all the mazda crap I had laying around in my mom's shed ha...
(deleted old setup pics)

Old stuff was here... scroll down for more recent..............

Just replaced that weird oil pressure switch with one of a DE works great now. I forgot to mention in the first post that the engine is kl31 cammed klze I found at the junkyard. Still waiting for that damn axle although she runs great now.

YA I'm still around cody, how did that mx6 trans end up workin?

TO COME:
HEI
2 12" Eclipse metal cone aluminum subs
speaker pods in door panels
2 monitors
kl36 ecu
headers

I might add the Exedy clutch kit I got is ok I guess it was a little let down I should've known it would'nt grab that hard being an OEM replacement. I had an XTD stage 1 that was around the same price on ebay & it pulled way harder.

that line there is the PCV recirculation. It sends the vented gases from the crankcase back into the intake so that it gets burned rather than ejecting it into the atmosphere...which is just wrong and will make a mess in your engine compartment as it carries some vaporized oil with it.

Trans worked great, but my ex ended up with the car. I'm on to bigger and badder things.

Well I sold the red mx6, & I picked up an '02 626 with 112k miles for $450. It had an engine fire & the transmission that was in it was sold.
Image

Updates on my black mx-3 are, new wheels, new mx6 black leather front seats, & An interior carpet shampooing. I picked up some ebay headers for the millenia motor I have. They fit like crap, be warned if you get the $120 shipped ones.

Just waiting to drop this in as soon as I get my garage back from the silver 626.

I work out of my car for now, so at times it is packed full of parts/ electronics but no food!!! Never eat in my car!!
Image

These are some 17's I picked up for $230, the tires are 205/45/17 I have dropzone springs & kyb gr2 struts (thx mooneggs). The front tires rub sometimes on sharp turns, I plan on getting some 205/40's up front to help with that.

Looking sharp! Were the MX6 seats a direct bolt on? Or were modifications needed?
