Well I was a little disappointed as there was only one MX3 and it was almost a shell. The other MX3's were crushed.
I did find a Probe GT so I got a KL02 VAF, T0T57072 disty, new looking alternator and a power antenna I needed for my MX6. All for $30 bucks
As an added bonus when I looked in the hatch of the MX3 I found an antique hand drill in mint condition, cool.
I'm thinking about going back and pulling the heads on the KLDE in the Probe. I can probably get them both for like $20 bucks.
I'll wait a couple of months and there should be more MX3's there then.

Dude! No fair! the PnP by me would have charged like $100 for all that! They charge friggin $50 for 1 headlight, and if its got a turn signal built in, might as well just bend over and grab your ankles. Not to mention there's no more half price days at mine.
I wonder if I could get them to price match from their other locations?
Youz a lucky one, Danny-boy.

Ha I was wondering who'd ask that. I'm considering pulling the heads myself. The motor would probably be $50 bucks and another $20-30 to lift the car onto the rack to cut stuff off so it can be pulled. What you need??

You want to pull the heads off in the junkyard? Not really an easy job, it would actually be easier to pull the motor

I did it. Its not bad, except the rear exhaust manifold. The rest is actually super easy. don't need to keep track of bolts or anything... all onto the wiper cowl.

I did my entire car with nothing but hand tools and Dewalt 18v cordless tools, but thost damn headbolts, nothing I had had enough power to remove them. Needed to improvise with the ratchet and a pitchfork as leverage.

I have a pitchfork and a garden edger so I think I'm good to go.

Just to be on the safe side I'll bring my Garden Weasel
Tm and the decorative Gnome sitting my my door step.

Pulling an engine in a scrap yard is no easy task. There's no under car access, no beer fridge, no constant interruptions, no air compressor for the impact gun, no Jehovah Witness's canvasing, sun beats down on your neck, scrap guy doubles the price for lifting the engine out once your ready and finally, the very very last bolt on the rear engine mount won't come out no matter what. So you give up. 5 mins later, yard guy comes with an electric impact gun, removes that bolt, pulls the engine and sells it to a kid who was standing just over there who new you'd give up sooner or later. Pulling an engine in a scrap yard is not for the feint of heart.

I use my shittastic 2' handle torque wrench-turned-breaker-bar. half inch drive, rated to a useless lotta ft lbs. Smacked on the ground enough to ruin the ratchet, it works great
