Ok, so... all my babies are gone...

Yep. Today, after putting the ad for my tool set only twice, a guy came and took them off my hands. Several years of sacrifice, gone... :crying: Now my place seems huge.

But on the flip side, now I have the money to finally get my license back, and finally get a job, after almost a year and a half, and maybe get my life back. With any luck, I may be able to start buying tools back within a few months...
But meanwhile, nothing more depressing than looking at all the empty shelves.. :(

What's the possibility of moving to another state. From what you told me the opportunities are few and far between in Florida. I have to agree and I understand that after taking the time to build some thing up then have to sell it off sucks big time. Keep positive and believe new opportunities will present themselves to you. :D

Right now, the possibility of moving is not there. I just don't have enough money to afford 2 rents.
Yeah, life in Florida is very hard right now, but I'm confident that, once I get my license, I should be able to get a job fairly soon. There's still a few big companies (like Comcast, or Autozone) that are always hiring. I know I'm not gonna make a fortune, but I should be able to save some money, and then maybe even transfer within the company, instead of moving and having to look for a job in the new place.

You have no idea how hard it is. I spent 2 1/2 years, working 100-120 hrs a week, to get those tools. Now looking at the empty spaces makes you wanna cry...
And, to make things even better (ain't life great?), a week ago, on the 7th, I got hit by a car (which, of course, doesn't help improve my mood), so now I'm in therapy. Now I just found out, since I was a pedestrian, and I don't own a car, as per Florida law, the guy's insurance doesn't cover me.

Like they say, when it rains, it pours...
