4cyl sohc 100k+, blown ATX atm, and in serious need of a fresh interior. Already have the Transmission and a donor car I know of nearby has a full like new interior thats going to go into it. Other than that going to be putting zx2 struts/mounts on all 4 corners and Apexi Drop springs and giving the engine bay a thorough once over. Oh and we need some color suggestions in the neutral/earth tone direction, atm were thinking a nice Baby blue color.

Man I have front black seats (cloth) to give away and no one wants them. If you stick with a colour close to what you have now you won't need to do the door jams and all the other hard to paint places.

Soooo after many hours of exhausting work, a lil' welding time on the lug nuts and we finally have the tranny out and new one installed. Not to mention finally been able to make a long list of everything this poor car needs. Just to start, new battery&clamps, Upper trans & rear trans mount, Down pipe w/flex section, both axles (the drivers side was literally welded into the transmission from heat and the passenger side out bearing was completely shot) new brake hardware.. and a serious trip to the hardware store as 90% of everything was loose, stripped, or wrong and who the @#!$? uses brass nuts on exhaust!!!.

I just hope when all this is done she still runs at least because from what I can tell this poor cars endured a serious amount abuse, either from the owner or installer. Heres keeping our fingers crossed.

I was finding funky bults from just putting the new door panels in.
I have two 5galon buckets of probe and mx3 bolts, nuts, etc from my cars over the years. You welcome to whatever you need from them.

Just a few things I rounded up for this weekend, Eurolamps w.motors & clear markers, valve cover gasket, and pulled the wheels from the old parts car and got some tread on them. Also picked up the front bumper support and turn signal lamp harnesses

Re: Sleeper6's Fiances Mx3 Repaint

So spent the day gathering parts for the car to patch up the dodgy interior (new headliner, old one was completely mildew and nasty, trim bits, visors and a RH seatbelt assm and a stock bumper for winter) as we found the aftmkt sunroof has been leaking into our laps. So spent an hour getting the bumper painted to match and tore the headliner down to find out not only was it leaking from the moonroof but it never even had the drains set up. Drilled them out and ran lines only to find its still leaking so time to pick up some beadsealer and try again tomorrow after it gets completely removed!

Post'n pics once its completed!
