FS - 93 KLZE GS Special Edition Part Out *lots of goodies*
Welp, some drunk totaled off my mx-3 while it was parked beside my house, so now I'm probably parting it out. If I get enough interest here (or in at least ONE of the big items). I'll buy it back, I should have access to it next week.
This is a complete car, so if you need something specific post up and I'll see what I got for you. The front and rear bumpers are unuseable, and I wouldn't feel right selling the seats as they are fairly torn up. Everything else is good though.
Good Stuff:
KLZE Drivetrain: $1000
- Genuine KL-ZE w/ ~80, 000km (verified by head stamps and visual inspection of the cylinders during preparation for installation. Timing belt, water pump, and seals done two years ago. Compression was 195psi +/- 5psi on each cylinder on the last checkup. which was a couple months before i stopped driving it.)
- Stock GS 5speed transmission w/ ~260 000km (Still feels solid, 1st gear syncro a little tired.)
- Centerforce Dual friction clutch (This clutch is for an MX-6 i believe and it grabs good and hard, but still feels comfortable.)
- Chipped KLZE ECU
- This is everything you need to convert an MX-3 to a KLZE
If someone is interested in the Engine only, I'll sell it separately, with the clutch attached for: $900
ZEX Wet nitrous system with 75hp jets: $300
- This system is very easy to install and a lot of fun. It taps into the throttle position sensor to fire when you give it full throttle if its armed. Includes:
- 10lb Nitrous bottle (chrome)
- Fancy custom made brushed aluminum bottle bracket
- All required hoses and wiring
- Fuel, and Nitrous solenoids housed inside the main control box (rebuilt 1 bottle ago by me and showing no signs of wear).
- 1 Nitrous purge solenoid. (this thing will take you by surprise if you've never played with nitrous before.... hahaha)
Digital AEM Wideband air/fuel gauge w/ O2 Sensor: $250
Digital AEM Fuel Pressure gauge w/O2 Sensor: $200
Front/Rear Strut tower bars. Chrome bars, with Blue brackets: $40
- (Small notch ground out of the front bar to accommodate curved neck manifold)
2.5" Stainless Steel OBX Headers: $100
Full 2.5" Mandrel bent Exhaust with 12" Resonator, 2.5" Catalytic Converter and Ractive Muffler: $100
- (Don't let the ractive muffler fool you. This system really makes the car sound sexy.)
Full set of H&R Performance springs (1-1.5" drop i believe): $100
Front and Back AWR Poly motor mounts. (Makes your car feel real solid, can vibrate a little at lower RPMs): $80
Straight Neck KLZE Manifold: $150
Full set of Special Edition 15" Alloy wheels w/minor scratches: $200
Prices are negotiable. Let me know if anything sounds completely unreasonable.
I'm in Saskatoon Saskatchewan, S7H 2V8. I would much prefer for items to be picked up. But if you can help me arrange the shipping for large items like the motor or transmission, then it isn't out of the question.
I should mention that I do accept PayPal, Money Orders are also fine.

Are the strut mounts, front and rear, in good shape? If they are newer and no cracks, I may be interested in them. Also, the seatbelts and bolts.

Yep, definitely a bit of a piss-off. Luckily I have a couple other projects to keep me occupied. Unfortunately I don't think you'd be interested in the strut mounts. They aren't in very good shape.
