I just completed my first clutch job on one of my MX-3s, a 93 1.6L 5spd. Put it all together and everything worked but now the engine won't idle. I do not see any hoses or wires that are not connected. Have only been able to keep it going by shortening the accel cable. What am I missing?

When you disconnected the air meter, did you remove the screws and pull before realizing your mistake? I'd check those pin outs for proper resistance.

You probably just forgot a plug. Checking the engine codes will tell you.
