no spark on 1993 mazda mx3 1.6 4 cylinder

ok i was sittin at the gas station car was idling then just died outta no where. tried to start it and the car just cranked over and over so i pull the coil wire and im not seeing any spark put a new coil in and still no spark from coil to distributor what can cause this ?

Usually this is not a problem on the 92/93's.
number one, check your fuses.
make sure you don't have spark, its hard to fix a problem that may or may not be the problem.

checked the fuses fuses are good still no spark thats why im on here i cant figure it out its really buggin me

everything else works just no spark makes no sense if the computer fried could that make it have no spark and everything else work ?

that certainly wasn't true in my case...
not sure what the OP meant about pulling the coil wire or replacing the coil. seems to be confusing it with spark plugs and wires..? the coil is built into the distributor, and you likely need to change the whole thing.

external coil on 92/93 RS.
