Steering wheel jerks

So lately my steering wheel will pull usually to the right.
It's getting worse and more constant.. happens at any speed randomly.
I have jacked the car up and pushed/pulled on the tire. There is no play nor is there any sound. I rotated the tire by hand and it always 'grabs' at one point. It only grabs while rotating fwd and not backwards. Again no sound or grinding noises.

Hmmm...is it the right wheel that grabs?
Do you hear anything rubbing?
Is the brake rotor in good shape?

Yah it's the passenger front.
Don't hear anything rubbing at all.
Rotors are about 6 months old. It looks to be in good shape.

Maybe it is a caliper problem? Seems kinda of odd.. Are you able to maybe take a video of the problem (with you spinning the tire)?

Hmmm...I'm thinking wheel bearing.
Try taking the caliper off, and see if the wheel still grabs (Take the pads off as well). If it doesn't grab anymore, chances are either the caliper or the rotor are in bad shape. If it keeps grabbing, my money is on the bearing.

Alright sounds good!!
If it does happen to be the bearing. Should I replace the entire wheel hub assembly? As well should I do both sides on the front?

I would just replace the bearing, if the other side is not making noise when your driving and passes the "wiggle" test then you should be ok. But if you want to change em out you can.

Also remember that when it grabs, if both tires are off the ground, you're rotating both tires, and both axles, the differential... etc.

Yah I only had the one tire jacked off the ground. Other side was on the ground.

Alright well I suck at diagnosing. I was actually having a horrid grinding every time I turned the wheel left and driving.
I drove it to my friends for him to look at it and I stopped at a stop sign and attempted to go again. My car wouldn't move.
The CV joint had disintegrated!!!
Luckily I could be towed to my other friends garage a few houses down and we popped in a new one!! Praise the mx-3 gods.
