would this motor fit my mx3 MX6TURBO 1988-92 F212v 2184cc 86mm

You have a v6?

Why dont you get a KLZE, that motor aint gonna fit in your car unless you got cash to burn, and even then it wont be worth it

well i took car to shop today to help me with it running again and although i can drive it just keep it from dieing it the fun part ,the mechanic says he not getting any power to obd1 and he cant see codes is my freaking ECU out w???????would that make car run like s---....thinking about buying a new motor just a thought

Do some more research. Might not be the motor that is causing your issue.

This thread, conveniently located in the forum entitiled "V6 FAQ" will explain the procedure for pulling the Check Engine Light Codes from the ECU.

It sounds a lot like your mechanic doesn't know his arse from a hole in the ground.

yeh i lol i knom he like i cant get into the ecu and he tell me that my ecu is an old x system it not even a obd1 omfg this guy is dumb

REad the FAQ...this is stuff you can do yourself with a paperclip for cryin out loud.

If your car was manufactured before 95' it is OBD1, 95' and later are OBD2 (roughly) and you would need a code reader tool.

MX-3 w/ curved neck millenia klde, boosted @ 5 psi. /bov and wastegate are good!/ nitto drag radial/ gutted interior/ millenia red top injectors, vortech fmu/aem wideband/ all bolts ons/ Car put together 100% by me. Mechanic? who needs a mechanic? ew.. real men work on their own cars!

Politely tell your mechanic he is a waste of breathable air, and either find a new mechanic, or do it yourself.
