The other night I got home from work and shut off my car and the headlights stayed on. I pulled out the keys and the switch was turned to off. I started messing around with the light control switch and they turned off. Later that night when I went to go somewhere they had turned themselves back on. It's been like this for a few days now. When I mess with the switch now the lights kind of dim and then they turn back on and it takes awhile to get them off again. I just kind of hope they don't come back on. I'm guessing the light control switch is going to need to be replaced but I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas of something else it might be. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like your combination switch is on the fritz. Pull it apart and see whats going on, or get a spare, maybe on here. You need to specify airbags and cruise... IIRC..

The headlights should turn off when the car isn't running, even if they are switched on? Mine only turn off if I switch them off.
