Anyone use this kind of shifter

Just wondering if this type will work as opposed to the ball type instead of this cylinder. I had another short shifter but when I installed it, there was ALOT of play from side to side even with the bushings. Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean... that pic looks like the B&M shifter. I had one and it worked fine...

i think hes asking how you would go about installing it. the stock shifter uses a big white ball type joint where this one has a round cylinder at the pivot point. i was also wondering this recently...

Yes! This was exactly what I was asking. I just didnt know how it would move inside the 2 white plastic bushings with that cylinder.

It works fine. you slide out all the plastic s--- mazda uses and press that in. Works great. Another way to set the height, how far you press it in...
