DS Power Window - Evil, Evil, Evil thing

So I'm having never ending trouble with my DS power window... First it was extremely slow moving up the top 4" of the window, so I lubricated it.
That worked great for about 10 days, and then it would jam and bind at 2 points going up AND down. I assisted it gently, until eventually the motor just crapped out on me.
I Frankensteined 2 motors into 1, cleaned and greased the assembly, and had the best DS power window I could ask for, from about July until 2 weeks ago.
This time it went from perfectly functional to binding and jamming at the 2 points I mentioned above.
I'm VERY much inclined to believe it's the braided cable and that screw contraption used to rotate the cable around the motor... Does anybody know first off what that is called, and secondly where I might find a suitable replacement. The cable is no problem, I've got a stainless option I'm going with for that.
Thanks guys, this is annoying.

check to see if the 2 screws that hold the glass in place are loose first off, if there is a forward or rearward tilt to the window it will bind in the track causing a high current draw on the motor and burn it up. I have this issue and rocking the window in the track fixes it for a bit but I have to remove the door skin and check/tighten those screws to fix the issue.

I did notice this the last time I disassembled it. I made the(likely poor) choice of assuming it would stay tight when I put it back together.
Thanks for the tip, I'll let you know how it goes.
Any other ideas guys? No harm in getting them out there until the issue is resolved

Yes, I know I'm being hard on it when I force it... I was attempting to keep the video short, as it takes a while to upload on 3g from an iPhone.

I'm fairly confident that the issue lies in the pulley that connects to the motor itself; I've posted a WTB on a mint one, and will update this post when I have new information.

The stuff that actually moves the window is called the regulator. window regulator.

As in motor + track/slide assembly(pulley and cable included)? Thanks.
Does anybody have a parts car they could tear into and check for this pulley?

Fixing/Replacing the motor will probably do it, but I don't recommend that until you find out what causes the problem. I fixed my motor, and now I'm burning it up again because the problem is back

I just unplugged the switch to eliminate the temptation... it's killing me not having the windows down.
