Hey guys, im just curious to know how far you pushed your mx-3, I personally got mine to 103 and probally could have gone faster but didnt want to risk it. Lets hear your top speeds

in my 93 rs with no mods i got to 190km and i know i could of hit 200 but had to slow down due to traffic, i had a friend in the car and a load of crap in the trunk<BR>it was good my friends couldn't believe that my 88hp beast of an car could hit 190km<BR>lol<p>[ November 08, 2001: Message edited by: Marlon ]

110 mph from oc maryland. could have gone faster but caught up to cars. im guessing like 130 mph for me. 93 1.8L v6

I took mine 92 GS up to 110mph, I was at almost 6000 rpm in 5th, Iam guessing since it is redlined at 7, could have made to ~120

i've made it to 105mph in my 93 RS. i slowed down due to traffic and i was only at about 4000rpms i think. it's all stock, too. i don't think that stock rs's are very stable above 95mph. these cars in general aren't really made to race as is. handling sucks above 95mph.<BR>-Marc

I have had my '95 RS up to 120MPH around King Ranch area. I have also read that the speedometer is not that accurate at that range.

i've had it pegged at 120 mph when i had a bad distributor, had it at 6k rpm in 5th. but i don't want to take the risk of another top speed run, now that i got my car running right.

I got mine to 140 mph. Swear to god. I was on the way to the hospital because my girlfriend was in a car wreck. I know, looking back it was a stupid thing to do, but I wasn't thinking straight. I DO remember looking down at the speedometer and going, "Holy s---! 140?!" Kinda took my mind off my girlfriend for a second.

When my car was new I got it to 136, took me a while to get there though.

Back in Missouri, one night around midnight, only person on the road, I got mine up to 142mph. I have the 94 Rs. It was up to 136 under it's own power, then I had a downhill part, maybe a 2% grade, very light slope....looked down, and had it at 142.....said holly sh*t, and let off the gas. Felt as though if I were to even twitch my arm muscles, I would have lost control. Never again , without better tires

i had mine going an honest 145, my friend was right next to me in his camaro to verify my speed, it took me quite awhile to get there though, heh that was sum fun s---, but it took a realllly long realllly flat road (i-39) i think i could gone fast cause i wasnt tachin much over 6400, i think it was, wasnt really payin attention 2 that, just tryin to keep it on the road, even am mx gets squirrly at those speeds

125mph in my 94 rs. you gotta love the aligator alley. nothing but straight road for about 10 miles..

115 mph on a ~1 mile straight freshly paved 2 lane country road. Had to slow down because I didn't want to pass the car coming toward me at speeds above ~90.
