Motor swap options if you have a V6:

1.8L V6 - Mazda Mx-3
2.5L V6 - Mazda Millenia, Mx-6 and 626. Ford Probe

If you want anything else, it's custom work and expensive. With money being tight, those above are you're only options

oh well once its rebuilt youll know to change your oil more often eh?

EDIT. your not looking hard enough, i found atleast 3 klde motors on craigslist in your area...

http://tampa.craigslist.org/hil/pts/2023192740.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

those guys have tuns of different ads with motors that will drop right into your car without any modification give them a call im sure it wont cost as much as you think... it was said before 2.5l mx6/probe gt/626/millenia are easy swaps and will gain you 40hp over the stock 1.8

engine hoists can be rented for fairly cheap. i transported my motor in the back of a van. im sure you know someone with a van or truck you could borrow for a couple hours. motor swaps aren't as hard as you would expect. there is a large learning curve but with enough time/research im sure you could figure it out. it took me about 4 days to get everything out then back together and i had no idea what i was doing. i did however have SOME help from someone who did. in the end its up to you. if you think its a better idea to try and clean out the one you got the put it back together who am i to judge...

good luck i hope you get her back on the road soon.
