That shouldn't be able to happen.... What a crappy lift design.

I understand, maybe, if you remove a motor and the car takes a dive off the back of the lift, but you're SUPPOSED to use stands for that... or chain the car down.

Haaaa! I've seen those lifts, I'm pretty sure there is a proper way to secure the car when using those. Apparently those guys didn't do it.

We had that happen in our Auto Hobby Club. The kid put his dad's Suburban on the hoist wrong. His dad placed the kid on the end of his boot after it happened.
