Seat Belt and Door Lock Replacement

A little back story; I bought the car not knowing the doors and bumpers were 'allegedly' stolen on it from another mx3. The guy punched out the driver side door lock and the key I have doesn't unlock any of the doors not even the hatch. I think I can go to a locksmith to get knew locks made but I'm not sure if there is a cheaper way. The guy I bought the car from must have replaced the seat belts with just lap belts and the motor for the sholder belt doesn't work anyway. It's a big mess right now and I have no idea where I can get replacements. I've check ebay and other sites on the internet. None of the auto stores have them so I am at a loss. I am going to try to call a dealership and see if I can get the parts through them but I was wondering if anyone here would have any ideas about where I could get these replacements because the closest Mazda dealership to me is 200 miles away. Thanks in advance.

Can't help you with the locks, but the seatbelts have been recalled by Mazda, so, chances are, if you can get your car to the dealership, you'll get them replaced for free.

Just post a WTB for a set of lock cylinders with a key. someone parting out will have a set. They're easy to replace, and even the ignition isn't too hard, although harder.

Do you think they would still do that even though the doors aren't original to the car and the seat belts have been altered?

Na, forget Mazda, they are going to be a hassel and it will only be a temp fix since they will break again some time. Do a manual belt conversion. It is not that hard IMO and will be a good permanent fix. I'm sure if you bat your eyes at some Canook they will sell you the parts you need for cheap.
I haven't read my How To on this in a LONG time, but I think it was/is complete. I just ran across the pics that I was going to post with the How To and never did, but I can probably email them to you if you need.
