Anyone know the proper installation kit# for grant wheels on a MX3?

Has anyone used a different manufacturer kit? I'm pretty sure the Grant and Momo have the same bolt pattern. I'd like to hear what people have used for either wheel or possible options because frankly... the Grant kit looks like arse. I'm not against a quick release if it's not insanely priced.

I had a grant kit for mine that I was going to put on but just a heads up if you have cruise it wont work without modification. Mine is a gs and the connection ring in the wheel with the cruise/horn/signal functions hits on the kit and wont hook up properly. Also the grant wheel I had was at that annoying size where it cut of my view of the top of my dash.. right where the 55-65mph speed is at so that would have made things tricky.

I saw a cruise control mod in here and I'll go that route so retaining the cruise in the installation isn't a problem. I just hate the grant kits because of the big assed rubber slinky deal, and it puts the wheel back at least an inch from stock.

I'd prefer a lower profile mount, just not sure what is available that looks clean and will match up to the Grant bolt pattern.

Modding cruise control isnt the issue. The problem is that the cruise control is part of the ring that the horn circuit goes through as well. Mind you that tab also has notches on the outside to return your turn signal to the neutral position as well when you turn your wheel, so if you eliminate that ring that is in there so the grant kit will fit youll have to find a different circuit hub for the grant to work. I never had the chance to see one on a non cruise mx to see if they might be a solution then mod the buttons but atleast its a possibilty.

The mod I saw puts the cruise buttons on the top of the steering column, bypassing the hub completely. So as long as I have the horn opertional, all is golden.

Still looking round at some other options. NR>G makes some low profile hubs and adaptors tht look sweet, just not sure the grant will bolt straight in. Can't seem to find any specs on the bolt pattern and don't want to hack one up.
