Any tips on how to wiggle these dirty red tops out?

Big adjustable pliers, open em up and squeeze on the sides of the injector and wiggle it left and right while pulling up. Very hard to do but you will be able to get em out eventually. You can use some oil once you get em out abit as well to lubricate the seals as that is why they are so hard to get out.

Holy chit its like mazda didn't intend on them coming out of the rail

Isn't it possible to use the milly fuel rails? Just swap over some bits from your k8 rail?

thats what i was gonna say too... if you use the rails only and put your kl accesories on them... idk maybe you should try that!!!
